Hi! My name is Hernando. I live in Utrecht which is a city located in The Netherlands. Actually I come from Trujillo - Peru, where I lived for eighteen years, but in 2001 my dad decided to change his job, and we all moved to Madrid to start a new life. Since four years ago, for personal reasons I moved out again and this time to Utrecht. I’m interested in computer science, music, cuisine, sport and old literature. Computers first appeared in my life when I was a teenager(18). Then I had got my first computer. It was Commodore 64 and I remember myself thinking, that it was the best thing in the world. I was playing it whenever I could. Then I had got my first PC. At first, I was just playing computer games, but some time later, I noticed that I could do a lot more things with the computer, for example programming. Now, I can already program in JavaScript, Java, CSS and HTML5. On this web site for example I am using some programs that I know. I hope that in the future I will learn more programs related with computer science. It's an excicting time for machine learning.
I am working through several online classes, and swap ideas with friends and colleagues. My favorite music band is QUEEN. I think it is the best group on the earth. Together with my brother, we are devoted Queen fans. I have all their albums, many video tapes, books, posters, gadgets and interviews. I love them, but I also like other groups like The Doors, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Oasis, Nirvana and many others rock and pop groups. Apart from that I’m really fascinated by Latin Jazz Music. As hobbies I like to practice group sports. I have always been good at sports. I have played in many sport tournaments in which together with my team, I have won many trophys. I like playing soccer, running, cooking, dancing in a social dance club; and meet different people from many parts of the world. My favorite intellectual game is chess, but I have never played it professionaly. I love fantasy literature. I have used to read fantasy books and magazines, watch fantasy films and play role playing games in which fantasy world is used as background.
I am looking for a Junior position in a team where I can take some responsibilities and gain experience with costumer and cool projects. Regardless with my affinity in the development, I do have more affinity for the Front-end part including there the User Interfaces. During long time I have had interest on learn to code but always something came out when I was trying to... Finally at the beginning of 2018 I decided to jump up and go for it. The three first months where really hard having any idea what I was doing. Sometimes sleeping at 2 a.m. or 3 a.m. in the morning.... this is the true history for many coders who started in adult age I believe. Leaving away the dramatic things and going back to the code, I consider myself a learning person and every single day I try to learn something new. For instance watching and following many online trainings, here I realize that every person is able to get what everyone wants. I love building things and would really like to colaborate in a team to develop cool things where everyone can help each other, in this manner a group becomes extremely strong.
